Our Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists and Administrative Staff! We have 20 Recreational Therapists, 3 Music Therapist, 3 interns (Summer 2024), 2 Support Staff, 1 Service Dog and we are growing every day!
Kade is the owner and CEO of Get Rec'd and a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist. He has over 15 years of experience serving individuals with disabilities through adaptive sports and leisure opportunities. He is a disabled army veteran and has a permanent physical disability. He was awarded the 2022 Frank Basile Clinician of the Year through ATRA. He is passionate and highly knowledgeable about person centered plans, adaptive sports, physical activity, and comprehensive treatment plans.
Erin is our Director of Therapeutic Services! Erin is a graduate of Slippery Rock University, obtaining a bachelor of science degree in Recreational Therapy, Philosophy, and Non-Profit Management and a minor in Animal Assisted Interventions in August of 2017. She enjoys spending the majority of her time outdoors with her animals. She loves the beach, bowling, watching movies, and crafts! Erin is excited to use her experiences to assist and support individuals in increasing their independence.
Lynn is our compliance officer. She has 5 years of experience as a project manager.
Tauna is our administrative staff. She has 20-plus years of experience performing administrative roles. She loves spending time with her family! She can be reached at info@getrecd.care
Alpha is a service dog trained by Canine Companions, he will get to work with individuals served by Kade.
Anna is a graduate from Indiana University Bloomington and received a bachelor of science degree in Recreational Therapy in May of 2023. She enjoys going to the beach and watching the sunset. She also love all things Disney and arts and crafts.
Greg is our newest Recreational Therapist and will be accepting referrals in July. Greg graduated from University of North Carolina Wilmington with Bachelor of Arts degree in Recreational Therapy. Loves long distance running and crossfit workout programs. Enjoys reading, hanging out with my family, and being outdoors. Looking forward to helping my clients reach their personal goals with a variety of fun leisure and recreational activities.
Grace is a recent graduate of Indiana State University in May 2023. She is currently serving Vigo County, and looks forward to serving clients by using recreation as a modality to reach their goals. Recently, Grace was in Denver, Colorado using her skills as a recreational therapist with individuals with brain injury and spinal cord injury. She looks forward to serving a variety of populations and building relationships and community. In her free time, Grace enjoys hiking, camping, traveling.
Dana has been working in recreational therapy for 30 years. Certified in 2008, graduating from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Dana strongly believes that leisure skills and leisure education contribute to overall wellness, and recognizes that the ability to play is one of the integral part of helping a person experience, joy and life satisfaction.
When not engaging in recreational activities and services, Dana enjoys, teaching yoga, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
Chelsea has been practicing Recreational Therapy for 7 years serving individuals with special needs and individuals seeking mental health. She graduated from Central Michigan University in 2016. She loves spending time with her husband, family, and dogs, camping and time outdoors. If you don't find her there she's out and about at local craft shows and markets show casing her crafts.

Alesha is from North Carolina. She graduated from Winston-Salem with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation and a minor in psych. she also obtained a Masters in Public Administration and became a licensed esthetician. All the while working as a CTRS. She loves traveling, spending time with family and friends, outdoor activities, gardening, physical activities, and trying new things. I’m looking forward to helping clients achieve their personal goals.
Louie has been a CTRS since 1996! He will be serving the east side of Indianapolis! Louie graduated from Indiana University in 1996 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Recreation. He has been a CTRS for 26 years primarily in the field of geriatrics, but he enjoy all populations. Louie enjoys cooking and gardening.
Patrice will be servicing individuals on the east side of Indianapolis. Patrice attended Morris Brown College. She has experience with high/low courses and loves anything sports related. She enjoys movies and romantic novels. She is excited for opportunity to meet and engage with new people and to learn something new from each one of them.
Mallory graduated from Illinois State University in 2010 where she received a bachelors degree in Therapeutic Recreation. She has been practicing recreation therapy for 13 years and has spent the majority of her career working in adult and geriatric mental health. She has a passion for helping others to find hope, happiness, and improve their quality of life. Mallory has many interests and hobbies, including spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, and trying out new restaurant
Meet Arianna. She recently graduated from BYU-Idaho. She is from Saint Paul Minnesota. She has 5+ years experience working with persons with ID/SD She loves being in nature, learning new skills, traveling. She is passionate about helping individuals achieve their goals and develop independence through recreation. She strongly believes that through recreation we can change peoples lives! She is fluent in ASL and Spanish.
Nat will be serving individuals in Greenwood! Nat graduated from Central Michigan University two years ago with a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Therapeutic Recreation with a minor in Leadership. He is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health. Nat has experience working in community, camp, and long term care settings. In his free time Nat enjoys swimming, crafting, live music, and spending time with family. He looks forward to serving people in the Greenwood area!
Jess graduated from Indiana University- Bloomington and has been a CTRS since 2007! She will be serving Hendricks county. Most of her career has been spent working in behavioral/ mental health. She loves spending time with her family and pets, gardening, being outdoors, yoga, arts and games of all kinds. She is looking forward to making meaningful connections and helping others achieve their goals through play!
Camryn is a recent graduate of Slippery Rock University, earning a bachelor of science degree in Recreational Therapy and a minor in Animal-Assisted Interventions in July 2023. She has experience working with adolescents, persons with physical disabilities, and the geriatric population. Haley is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist that graduated from Indiana University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Recreation. She has experience working in adaptive sports, mental health, memory care, and the community setting. She enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, arts and crafts, watching movies, and being active. Haley is excited to join Get Rec'd and start helping others to achieve their goals through therapeutic recreation!
Sarah graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2013 with a bachelor of science in Recreation and she has been working with the Medicaid Waiver for 10 years. She has a 5-year-old daughter who takes up a lot of my time and she loves every minute of it. Her passions are sports, camping, video games and traveling. She looks forward to providing her consumers with meaningful activities and exploring new opportunities with them.
Chris graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2017 and has practiced Recreational Therapy for three years serving individuals with special needs and individuals seeking mental health services. He loves music, spending time with his three dogs and cat, and spending time outside gardening.
Andy is serving Ft Wayne, Indiana. Welcome to the team! Andy is a CTRS. Andy has lived experience as a person with a disability and is excited to use his life experiences to benefit the individuals he will He is a graduate of Indiana Tech in Ft. Wayne with a Bachelor in Therapeutic Recreation. Currently he serves on the State of Indiana's Governors Council for People with Disabilities. He loves to read and spend time with his wife and their pets.
Ariell is serving the east side of Indianapolis. Welcome to the team! Ariell is originally from a small town in southwest Kentucky. She enjoys indoor activities like writing, arts & crafts, reading, video games, and cuddling with her cat Luna. She's also a lover of outdoor activities and recreational sports, as well as traveling.
Marli is a graduate from Calvin University with a Bachelors in Therapeutic Recreation. She has worked with diverse populations in mental and behavioral health for 10 years, in California and in Indiana. She loves spending time with her family and her bernese mountain dog. Loves anything out doors, cooking, working out, dinosaurs, football, enjoying the little things in life that make people smile, and building connections. Amanda is a board certified music therapist with 18 years of experience working in the Indiana Medicaid Waiver. Amanda has spent her career focused on assisting individuals with disabilities in achieving their goals, while using music, and having fun in the process. In her spare time, Amanda loves spending time with her family, hiking, and tending her garden.
Anthony is from Upstate New York and began studying music at the age of ten when he joined his elementary school band playing the clarinet. Anthony fell in love with music and began to learn the woodwind and orchestral stringed instruments. He follows a humanistic philosophy in his MT practice, emphasizing that clients have free will, and works towards his clients’ goals with unconditional positive regard. Anthony advocates for the inclusion of orchestral and world instruments in sessions.
Connor is a passionate music therapist with extensive experience working with neurodivergent students in inclusive classrooms. Skilled in a wide range of diagnoses and IEPs. Collaborated with interdisciplinary teams in both clinic and behavioral hospital settings. He is committed to providing a compassionate and therapeutic environment. He has a strong musical background and expertise in teaching neurodiverse students.
